📚 Class Registration

To register for your courses, follow these steps carefully. Make sure to complete each step in order to avoid registration delays.

⚠️ Before You Register

Before you're eligible to register for classes, you must complete the following:

• ✅ Schedule and attend your appointment with your academic advisor
• ✅ Complete the TSI (Texas Success Initiative) Exam
• ✅ Submit your TB Questionnaire
• ✅ Provide proof of Meningitis Vaccine

📅 Step 1: Schedule an Appointment with Your Academic Advisor

Before you can register for classes, you must meet with your academic advisor. Book an appointment here:

Your advisor will help you choose the courses you should take based on your program and academic standing.

📝 Step 2: Register for Classes

After your advisor appointment and completing the requirements listed above, follow these steps to complete your registration:

• Visit the registration portal: https://samweb.shsu.edu/regq01wp/
• Log in using your SHSU credentials.
• Complete any Pre-Registration Notices.
• View Registration Holds.
• Review and accept all "Need to Know" items.
• Go to the Add/Drop Classes section.
• Select the courses your advisor recommended for this semester and complete the registration.

💵 Tuition Payment

Note: You can pay your tuition before arriving from your home country or after arrival in Texas by visiting the Global Engagement Center for assistance.

To manage your tuition payments in installments, please enroll in a payment plan by selecting the appropriate term and following the steps using this link: ➡️ Enroll in a Payment Plan

Important: Any scholarships you have been awarded will be applied to your payment plan on August 15th.
